Subdomain Creation Form 1 of 2

Concepts

The namespace on this resolver is divided into segments called domains. There is one top level domain for FCLA (FCLA) and one for each of the SUS Universities (FAU, FAMU, FGCU, FIU, FSU, UF, UCF, UNF, USF, UWF).

Subdomains are privately controlled segments of the namespace that exist under the top level domains. For example, if the library at UWF wanted to create a subdomain for its own use, they might call it "LIB". PURLs for files belonging to this domain would then be prefaced: /UWF/LIB/...

If the concepts of top level domains and sub-domains are unfamiliar to you, please read about them in the PURL FAQ before continuing.

Registered users of this PURL server are authorize to create PURLs in one top level domain. Users can optionally create the subdomains under their top level domain.
