Date Issued:
1975
Abstract/Description:
The scope of this work attempts to provide a compilation of all parasitic diseases occuring in the State with emphasis on those of economic importance, but at the same time not excluding any truly pathogenic relationship of organisms (fungi, bacteria, viruses or mycoplasma) with plants not considered to be of economic importance such as weeds and non-cultivated plants. A diligent attempt has also been made to restrict the listing of organisms to those which are truly pathogenic, omitting those organisms which were felt to be saprophytes or necrophytes, i.e., organisms which develop on dead plant tissue.
