vibracores were collected across both the ebb- and flood-tidal deltas of hurricane pass, a tidal inlet formed by the breaching of hog island (now honeymoon and caladesi islands) during the hurricane of 1921. these were used to describe and interpret the general stratigraphy and geologic history of the area, and to give special emphasis to the stratigraphy of microtidal tidal delta deposits.
